Having a book published and available to the world is a great feeling. I have published nine books of my own and am now helping other authors publish their books as well. I've already published books for a number of authors. Some of these are Michael James Kaiser, Nicola Ward, Regis Auffray, Barbara Kasey Smith and David Anthony Daniels. I hope that in the near future I get to do that for others as well.

My Ninth Book Is Out Titled An Unforgettable Journey

I published a new book. It's my ninth book to-date. Title of the book is An Unforgettable Journey. The book is a collection of poetry, lyrics, and prose on different topics. I was planning to publish this book by the end of last year but didn't because I wanted to write more material for it. In the end I chose not to write any new material for the book so published it in January 2015 after making some edits on already existing items and removing some from the manuscript altogether. The book is only 108 pages but it is still a great book and I am proud of it. Right now the book is only available at lulu.com but will be available on Amazon and online at Barnes and Noble soon.

Update On My Bubblews Redemption

The Bubblews redepmtion that I had made on June 30th is still nowhere to be found. I have written Bubblews about it, as they requested members with missing redemptions to do, and I even filled out the form for the missing redemption on their site. So far, there is no progress. It just says investigation pending... I've yet to get a response from them and the money has yet to be seen.

I did receive my next redemption, which I had recently made. The money was sent to my PayPal account but this time I was charged a fee for it. All my other Bubblews redemptions never had a fee. This current one does. I wonder why this is happening when it didn't happen before. Why do we all a sudden have to pay the fee when we didn't do that in the past? What changed?

I haven't written anything new on Bubblews because I was waiting to see if I would receive payment for the last redemption. Since it takes about 30 days to receive payment, if not longer than that, I haven't written anything for way over a month. Wonder if I should get back into writing there or simply forget about it until I get the past redemption that they owe me for.

I do have just under three dollars in the Bubblews bank right now. I can probably still reach the $50 minimum without writing anything new but the way things are going it will take a very long time for that to happen since to make these two bucks and change took way over a month. And that's because I haven't been active on others' posts or writing anything of my own.

Waiting On My 6th Bubblews Redemption

Since the end of July of 2013 I have been writing for a new website called Bubblews. There people write posts on any topic they choose in a minimum of 400 character length and then earn by people viewing those posts, liking them, and commenting on them. Once $50 in earnings are reached people can redeem those earnings.

In the time since joining Bubblews I have written over 100 posts and have earned over $200. I've had five successful redemptions and didn't have to wait long to get my earnings. I have made my 6th redemption on June 30th and have yet to receive an email saying that my payment is in progress. I don't see any pending transactions/payments from Bubblews in my PayPal account either. I hope this doesn't mean that they won't be paying me. I have not violated any rules. And my posts are all over 400 characters.

At first I thought of waiting until I get my payment before writing new posts but then I decided against it. By not writing anything new I am missing out on new earnings and am increasing the time it will take to reach my next $50, which is something that I don't want. I have already written three posts and will be writing more. Hopefully, I will be able to do a post a day, if not more than that. I shouldn't have a problem writing posts as technically I can write about anything no matter how silly or stupid it may be. Of course, I don't want to write something stupid, even if it will earn me something. It has to be something that interests me or that I wish to share with others.

Received Hard Copy of My Debut Novel...

I have just received a hard copy of my debut novel The Secret Life of Ashley Miles. It feels so good to hold it in my hands and to know that the book came to life by me. The book cover, the interior design, the story - it was all done by me. I feel as if I've achieved something major and I feel very proud of myself.

Now that I have the book I will read it from start to finish as if I am a reader not the author of it and see if there is anything amiss that needs to be corrected. It may be typos, minor tweaks in the wording or storyline. Once that's done I will have to make those changes in the manuscript and then re-upload my file to Lulu. This will of course mean having to buy another copy of my book because I need to have the latest copy of it before I can approve the book for distribution. I will then give this current copy away to someone.

I have already started to spread word about my novel but will really start doing it once I have a final read through of the entire book, make the needed changes and re-upload the latest file to Lulu.

I hope my novel will do well out there. I've spent a great deal of time on it and hope my hard work pays off.

Current Books Update

I am still working on my book An Unforgettable Journey, which will feature a mix of poetry, lyrics, and prose, so it is no longer my eighth book. It will actually be my ninth book.

My eighth book is my debut novel The Secret Life of Ashley Miles, which is a work of fiction but stems from my own personal experiences. The novel is finally published. It is currently available exclusively at lulu.com but will be available on Amazon in the near future.

I've always wanted to write and publish a novel. It wasn't easy by any means but I finally did it. I am super excited to share it with the world and hope that people will be able to connect with the main character in the story.

My 8th Book - An Unforgettable Journey

I am currently working on my eighth book titled An Unforgettable Journey. The book will be broken up into three sections - poetry, lyrics, and prose. I have already finished making my book cover and my book is halfway done. I just need to write more material for it and then I will be all set to share my newest creation with the world.

An Unforgettable Journey will be my second book that will include poetry, lyrics, and prose together in one volume. The topics in this book will of course include love/romance, relationships and heartbreak but there will be other topics as well. Diary of a Crush (my fourth published book) was the first one to have all three styles of writing together. That book, however, was solely focused on love/romance, relationship, and heartbreak.

I hope to have An Unforgettable Journey out by the end of this year. If that won't happen it will definitely be out in the beginning of 2014.

My Photography Page

Nature is breathtakingly beautiful and inspirational too. I love being surrounded by nature and I love savoring the moments I get to witness and experience by capturing it on camera. This way I can always look at the photos and think back to those wonderful times. 

There are so many scenes and sights that one can capture on camera. Whether it's just nature or the buildings and people that surround it, or anything else that strikes me or speaks to me, I love capturing all that on camera. 

A journey with the camera is fascinating and a whole lot of fun. You never know what you will get to experience and capture in photographic form. And that's what makes it exciting.

Over the years I have taken many beautiful photographs. I just started a Facebook page so I can share them with the world. I hope you check it out.

My Poem Featured in an E-Magazine

It wasn't too long ago that I joined the Facebook Poetry Community on Facebook and shared a link to my poem called "Nowhere To Be Found" that I have published on the AuthorsDen website. The poem was inspired by the passing of my paternal grandmother, who left us unexpectedly and just too soon.

When I shared this poem on the Facebook Poetry Community page I hoped that at least some people would click to view the poem. I never expected the owner of the page to take notice and to feature it in the first issue of an e-magazine that he was working on putting together and releasing to the world. 

Very shortly after I granted him permission to include my poem in his e-magazine I was notified that the e-magazine was done and that my poem was in there in all its glory along with my bio. While the bio is slightly incorrect, I am still thrilled to be a part of this e-magazine. While it may not be a huge deal to be a part of this e-magazine as it is not widely known, it is still amazing and to know that I have been chosen from a sea of endless poetry submissions to the page is a huge honor.
